The Tech Connect Job Co-op finder makes finding jobs easy for Community College students looking for Auto Tech jobs. Here's what you need to know to use the tool.

Let's face it, as a Community College student, there are a lot of things to worry about — signing up for classes, buying textbooks, purchasing your tools, commuting several times a week, etc. To add something else to the list, automotive and collision repair students need to find an employer to complete their job co-op.

What is a job co-op?

These are Community College System of New Hampshire opportunities within degree programs. Built into a student’s schedule is paid positions in which they are placed into a service department to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom and learn on the job alongside the most experienced automotive technicians New Hampshire has to offer.

What is The Foundation's Tech Connect Tool?

The Tech Connect tool is an interactive online application that lets you find a motor vehicle business near you. You can refine your search based on zip code, franchised vs. independent, and you can even indicate the manufacturer you'd like to work for.

Here's how to use it:

1. Once you've narrowed it down to the business you'd like to apply for simply expand the listing by clicking "APPLY NOW"

2. Fill out the application in its entirety to the best of your ability.

What happens next?


 
3. That's it! after clicking submit, your application will be sent to a member of the NHADA Foundation where they will review it prior to delivering to the business's HR Department. At that point you will be notified that your application was delivered and all future correspondence will be between you and the business to which you applied for.
